After many long hours of hard work, Nor Cal Roller Girls is proud to announce that we are officially a non-profit corporation!
We would like to give special thanks to our lawyer, Adam Horn, of Stewart Humpherys Molin & Griffith, for helping us obtain our Articles of Incorporation.
Thank you to Jose Bravo, of Rabobank, for advising us on the proper steps to finish this process efficiently. Thank you to Victoria Stephenson, CPA of Matson & Isom for continuing work on our tax exempt status.
And an extra special thank you to all the wonderful women, and skaters, of our league that made this happen.
Here’s to a successful 2013 season!

Nor Cal Roller Girls took on Tri-Valley Roller Girls August 25th. We had a great time both at the bout and the after party. Check out the recap of the bout written by Laurel Hansen aka Bad Astral from TVRG.
Nor Cal Roller Girls will be travelling to Hawaii the first week of November for a 2-bout series. November 3rd will find us bouting Pacific Roller Derby followed the next day with a bout against New Zealand. This has been an amazing opportunity we have been given but we will need the assistance of our fans, supporters, and derby lovers from all over to make this a reality. Why Hawaii? Some of our girls had the opportunity to meet the players at Red Red 2011 and our league would like the opportunity to partner with their skate organization as we progress toward becoming a WFTDA apprentice league.
Over the next 90 days, we will be fundraising for our travel costs to send a team of delegates to represent Nor Cal Roller Girls. Luckily, Pacific Roller has been gracious enough to house us, but we will still need to fly to Hawaii, pay for transportation, and maybe be able to have a bit left over to treat the team to dinner after our last bout. Not only will we be fundraising locally in the Chico area, we have set up an online donation page so that no matter where you are you can show your derby love for Nor Cal Roller Girls. Please visit https://www.wepay.com/donations/ncrghawaii
to make a donation. Even $1 will bring us closer to our goal. Also, would you be willing to share this link with your friends and family who love and support roller derby?
We promise to update you on the progression of our fundraisers on this website as well as on Facebook. If you would like to be notified of when and where the local fundraisers are, please make sure you “Like” our facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Norcalrollergirls
) as well as subscribe to the page so you can get our updates.
Our derby love overflows,
Nor Cal Roller Girls
